How to jazz up your salad servers with colour

Rejuvenate old wooden salad servers with fresh spring or summer colours.
Painted salad servers
You will need
- Resene testpots in your choice of colours; Nikki used Resene Essence, Resene Mozart and Resene Gold Dust
- Wooden salad servers
- Low tack masking tape
- Resene testpot brush
Instructions
- Clean the wooden salad servers to make sure they are dust free. Allow to dry.
- Using the low tack masking tape mask off a band of handle to paint. Paint this in your first colour and allow to dry. Then mask off the next band and paint that. Repeat until you have used each of your colours. You may need to do two coats in each colour before moving to the next colour.
- Wooden servers should not be placed in the dishwasher. Simply wipe clean and allow to dry instead.
