Simplicity is the essence of a relaxed holiday. To enhance the streamlined, uncluttered look of this beach house interior, the walls, ceilings and doors in the living area were painted in Resene Silver Sand.

The surfaces feature Resene SpaceCote Low Sheen, a low-odour, waterborne enamel, which is well suited to kitchens, bathrooms and broad-wall areas. The paint provides a durable, washable enamel-like finish. In critical light areas, its reduced side sheen will minimise surface imperfections.

Office space: White walls bring a fresh, clean look to the house interior. They also ensure the interior doesn't detract from the view. Resene Silver Sand was specified for the living room walls, ceilings and doors. Kitchen: The white theme continues in the kitchen. Here Resene Silver Sand is complemented by light-coloured concrete floor tiles.

Resene colours also feature on the house exterior. Here a variety of grey shades were chosen. The tower features Resene Cliff Face Grey, chosen to complement a custom-mixed Matapouri Grey for the walls, which is based on Resene Half Gannet. Soffits are painted in Resene Quill Grey.
