Wall surface finishes were central to creating the warm, inviting look that runs through the home.

Resene paints were specified for all painted surfaces by Yellowfox. These provided the colour subtleties required and had the added advantage of contributing to a clean air environment – again in keeping with the idyllic country setting.

For the ceilings, Yellowfox specified tones from the Resene The Range Whites & Neutrals collection – tinted into Environmental Choice-approved Resene SpaceCote Flat. This tough, acrylic enamel has a particularly durable surface.

Several walls in the showhome, including the family room, feature Resene Zylone Sheen in Resene Akaroa. In critical light areas, its reduced side sheen minimises surface imperfections.

Interior trims are in Resene Lustacryl tinted to Resene Eighth Thorndon Cream. This paint is non-yellowing, fast-drying and has a much lower odour than solventborne paints.

Also available from Resene is Resene Zylone Sheen VOC Free. Free of volatile organic compounds, this is intended to provide a better working environment for the professional or amateur painter.
