showroom

Auckland

This is a residential kitchen showroom that needed to have ‘wow’ factor, to push the boundaries of design.

It achieved this by stating a point of difference utilising a curved island and benchtop and a bright colour in place of standard white. To create the curve the MDF structure had to be shaped to the expected curve requirement, then skinned with 3mm MDF to ready it for paint application.

The design is also highly functional with electronic opening and closing drawer applications needing no handles to operate, giving cleaner lines.

Bold metallic Resene Yeehaa is used for visual impact on the pantry and island. This is teamed with the kickboard in Resene Silver Steel under the island, which gives the illusion it is floating.
