Hit the mark when pairing paint colours to highlight a 3D architectural detail by getting the ratio right. Go for broke with your subtle shade (we used Resene Secrets) and confine the intense hue (we used Resene Ruby Tuesday) to the area you want to feature. Set this scene in an indoor courtyard, or try it indoors with an internal window, door frame or skirting boards.
