How to update your bathroom
Step one
Remove bathroom fittings such as towel rails and wall-mounted cabinets. Carefully peel off old wallpaper, soaking any remaining paper with water to remove.
Step two
Wash the walls and woodwork thoroughly with Resene Interior Paintwork Cleaner and rinse off with clean water. Dry with an old towel.
Step three
Fill any holes and allow the filler to dry. Smooth the dried filler with sandpaper and wipe off any sanding residue with a damp cloth. Spot prime any filled areas with one coat of
Resene Quick Dry and allow two hours to dry. Then prime the full surface with Resene Quick Dry and allow two hours to dry.
Step four
Stir the
Resene Alabaster and then apply two coats to the trim and joinery, allowing two hours for each coat to dry.
`
Step five
Stir the
Resene Aqua and then carefully cut in around the edges, as shown.
Step six
Carefully pour some
Resene Aqua into the paint tray.
Step seven
Apply one coat of
Resene Aqua to the walls and allow to dry for two hours. Repeat steps five and seven.
Step eight
