Brighten up a tired concrete wall with a little bit of help from Resene.

You will need
- Bucket
- Concrete wall (ours was previously painted)
- Garden hose with clean running water
- Garden sprayer
- Paintbrush
- Paint stirrer
To get the look: Mark painted the trellis with Resene Lumbersider tinted to Resene Alabaster and the chair with Resene Super Gloss tinted to Resene Adrenalin.
Other ideas: For a bright pink effect paint the concrete wall with Resene Lumbersider tinted to Resene Cabaret.
How to prepare and repaint a concrete wall
Step one
Mix one part Resene Moss & Mould Killer to five parts clean water in the garden sprayer.
Step two
Spray the concrete wall with the solution and leave for 48 hours.
Step three
Mix in a bucket one part Resene Paint Prep and Housewash to three parts water.
Step four
Scrub the concrete wall thoroughly with the solution using a stiff-bristled brush.
Step five
Rinse well with clean water and allow the concrete wall to dry.
Step six
Carefully stir the Resene Lumbersider tinted to Resene Reverie.
Step seven
Apply one coat of Resene Lumbersider tinted to Resene Reverie to the concrete wall and allow to dry.
Step eight
Apply a second coat of Resene Lumbersider tinted to Resene Reverie to the concrete wall and allow to dry.
