However, they can also bring your room to a halt and stop it from reaching its full wow factor and potential. It is vital to consider your room’s purpose and how you want to use the space before selecting your window treatments.
Choosing your fabrics first will help you get one step ahead when it comes to creating your dream space. If you are a big fan of having colour on your walls, then it’s good to consider either a fabric with a small playful print featuring a complementing colour, or a single clean contrasting colour.
If you prefer calm, neutral toned walls then curtains give you the opportunity to introduce bold patterns and textures within the same colour palette. It is important that curtains and walls work well together; one should dominate the space while the other works to support it.
