It’s easy to make your very own glittery Christmas cards with a little bit of help from Resene.

Resene kids art with Mark Rayner - Project 109
Difficulty level: Easy
You will need: Paintbrushes (including a small artists’ brush), Piece of folded card, Resene Art Action glaze (satin), Resene Art Action Quick Dry, Resene testpot of Resene Get Reddy, Silver glitter
Top tip: To get a neat fold in the card simply score a fold line down the centre using a ruler and the back of a pair of scissors.

Step one
Paint the front of the card with one coat of Resene Art Action Quick Dry and allow to dry for two hours.
Step two
Paint the front of the card with two coats of Resene Get Reddy – make sure you allow two hours for each coat to dry
Step three
Paint a Christmas message on the front of the card using Resene Art Action glaze.
Step four
Before the Resene Art Action glaze starts to dry, sprinkle with silver glitter and leave for a minute or so. Shake off any excess glitter and leave to dry. How fantastic is that?
