Get some well deserved peace and quiet with this cool bedroom door handle sign.

Difficulty level: Easy
You will need: Flower sticker, MDF door handle sign (ours came from ‘Spotlight’), Paint brush, Resene Quick Dry waterborne primer undercoat, Resene Testpot of Resene Golden Fizz, Self adhesive letters (optional)
Top tip: If you don’t have a MDF door handle sign, simply make your own out of a piece of thick cardboard.

Step one
Prime both sides of the MDF door handle sign with one coat of
Resene Quick Dry and allow to dry for two hours.
Step two
Paint both sides of the MDF sign with two coats of
Resene Golden Fizz, allowing two hours for each coat to dry.
Step three
Apply the words ‘do not disturb’ across the front of the sign using the self adhesive letters, as shown, or paint them on if you don’t have self adhesive letters.
Step four
Finish off with a flower sticker, then hang your sign on the outside of your bedroom door handle and enjoy the peace and quiet!
