Resene kids art with Mark Rayner - Project 87
Difficulty level: Easy
You will need: Paintbrush, Polystyrene ball (ours came from ‘Spotlight’), Resene Art Action Quick Dry, Tinsel pipe cleaners, Your favourite Resene Testpot colour (we used Resene Red Hot)
Top tip: Tinsel pipe cleaners are available from most craft shops, but you can always use regular pipe cleaners instead.

Another idea: paint it yellow
Step one
Apply one coat of Resene Quick Dry to the polystyrene ball and allow two hours to dry.
Step two
Apply two coats of Resene Red Hot to the polystyrene ball, allowing two hours for each coat to dry.
Step three
Press one end of a pipe cleaner into the polystyrene, wrap the pipe cleaner around the ball, and then press the other end into the polystyrene to fix. Repeat with four or five other pipe cleaners, as shown.
Step four
Make a hanging device from a pipe cleaner and press the ends into the polystyrene to fix. Happy Christmas!
