How to paint a sunflower terracotta pot
Transform a plain terracotta pot into a colourful garden feature with a little bit of help from Resene.

You will need:
To get the look: Mark stained the bench with Resene Woodsman tinted to Resene Japanese Maple.
Other ideas: Create a fabulous daisy pot painting the centre with Resene Bright Spark and the petals with Resene Alabaster.
Instructions
Step two
Apply one coat of
Resene Malibu to the outside and inner rim of the pot and allow to dry.
Step three
Apply a second coat of
Resene Malibu to the outside and inner rim of the pot and allow to dry.
Step four
Paint the centre of the sunflower on the front of the pot using
Resene Brown Pod. Allow to dry.
Step five
Paint the sunflower petals, as shown, using
Resene California. Allow to dry.
Step six
Paint the sunflower stalk and leaves, as shown, using
Resene Green House. Allow to dry.
Step seven
Apply a second coat of each colour and allow to dry.
Step eight
Apply one coat of
Resene Clearcoat UVS to the outside and inner rim of the pot and allow to dry.
