Monster money box
Turn a cardboard coffee cup into a mega monster money box with a bit of help from Resene.

Difficulty level: Moderate
You will need: Cardboard coffee cup (with lid), Paintbrushes (including artists’ brushes), Plastic craft eyes, PVA glue Resene Art Action Quick Dry, Resene Testpots of Resene Alabaster, Resene Havoc, Resene Kermit and Resene Nero, Scissors
Top tip: You could also make a money box from a small cardboard box.
Here's another idea: This red monster money box was made using Resene Alabaster, Resene Chaos, Resene Nero, Resene Neva and Resene Rubber Duck.

Step one
Carefully cut a slot in the base of the cup, as shown – you might need a grown up to help with this bit.
Step two
Paint the outside of the lid and cup with one coat of Resene Quick Dry and allow to dry for two hours.
Step three
Paint the outside of the lid and cup with two coats of
Resene Kermit, allowing two hours for each coat to dry.
Step four
Place the lid onto the cup. Fix the craft eyes onto the front of the cup with PVA glue and allow to dry.
Step five
Paint eyelashes with
Resene Nero and a mouth with Resene Havoc.
Step six
Paint fangs with
Resene Alabaster and leave for two hours to dry. Grrrr!!!
