It’s easy to create your very own space rocket picture using a Resene stencil and a few Resene KidzColour testpots.

Resene kids art with Mark Rayner - Project 93
Difficulty level: Easy
You will need: A4 piece of cardboard, Artists’ brushes, Glue stick, Print-out of a Resene Rocket stencil from the Resene website , Resene KidzColour testpots in the following colours: Resene Blast Off, Resene Fizz, Resene Get Reddy and Resene So Cool
Top tip: If you don’t have an A4 piece of cardboard simply cut a piece to fit from an old cereal packet.

Step one
Carefully glue the stencil print-out to the cardboard and allow the glue to dry.
Step two
Paint the background space sky with two coats of Resene Blast Off, allowing each coat to dry properly.
Step three
Paint the space rocket with two coats of Resene So Cool, allowing each coat to dry properly.
Step four
Paint rocket windows and jet flames using Resene Fizz and Resene Get Reddy. Allow paint to dry properly before hanging your outer space masterpiece.
