Brilliant butterfly!
Another idea: Stripes
Step one
Place the clothes peg on the cardboard and draw a pair of butterfly wings, as shown.
Step two
Carefully cut out the butterfly wings and then cut a slot halfway down the centre of the wings, as shown, making sure it’s the same width as the clothes peg – you might need a grown-up to help you with this bit.
Step three
Slide the clothes peg down the centre of the butterfly wings, fitting it into the slot and fixing with PVA glue. Allow the glue to dry.
Step four
Apply one coat of Resene Quick Dry to the butterfly and allow two hours to dry.
Step five
Paint the wings with two coats of
Resene Tangerine, allowing two hours for each coat to dry.
Step six
Paint spots on the wings with two coats of
Resene Chaos and paint the body of the butterfly with two coats of
Resene Nero, allowing two hours for each coat to dry. How cool is that?
